From K-12Leads & Youth Service Markets Report:

An Educator’s Stipend Is A School Improvement Provider’s Potential Revenue

Announcement: Grants Available for Administrative Education Open (Aug. 2), North Dakota Department of Public Instruction

Their Description: Under a new provision in the Department’s budget, a North Dakota resident may receive a $1000 grant for graduate coursework in educational leadership leading to a master’s degree or a specialist’s diploma.  Applicants must be licensed to teach in North Dakota and have taught in the state during each of the previous five years.

Our Thoughts: More than one state reimburses educators for professional development activities from preferred providers. The trick is getting on the list. There are a number of universities that will work with professional development providers to offer university credit for online and off site training in specialized areas.
